Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa is preparing to launch an exciting brand-new guest wellness experience this July — our Elemental Contrast Therapy Experience — and we are looking for exceptional people to join the team from the very beginning.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of something new, immersive, and memorable within one of New Zealand’s most iconic wellness destinations.
About the Role
As an Elemental Host, you will play an important role in creating a calm, welcoming, and premium guest experience within our brand-new Elemental Contrast Therapy spaces.
You will help guests slow down, reconnect, and fully unwind by ensuring every detail of the experience is thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. From guest welcome and flow management through to cleanliness, ambience, refreshments, and guest wellbeing, your care and attention to detail will help create an unforgettable wellness journey.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and hosting guests with warmth and professionalism
- Managing bookings and guest flow to ensure a seamless experience
- Preparing and resetting wellness spaces to impeccable standards
- Supporting guest wellbeing and ensuring safety procedures are followed
- Preparing light refreshments and maintaining guest amenities
- Maintaining exceptional presentation and cleanliness across all wellness areas
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who notices the small details, takes pride in presentation, and enjoys creating beautiful spaces and meaningful guest experiences.
About You
You are someone who:
- Loves creating meaningful guest experiences
- Takes pride in presentation and attention to detail
- Has a calm, friendly, and professional manner
- Enjoys working in a wellness or hospitality environment
- Works well both independently and within a team
- Is organised, adaptable, and customer-focused
- Holds a current First Aid Certificate or is willing
to obtain one
