Cashier/Retail Assistant

Do you have excellent customer service and sales skills and want to join a friendly, welcoming team? Working across our Pools Reception and Retail Gift Shop, this role offers varied and stimulating work within a supportive team environment.

We are currently recruiting for:

• One full-time position (32 hours per week, Thursday to Sunday)
• One casual team member to assist with covering shifts as required
  

Successful applicants will have a bubbly, friendly personality, love to smile, and have a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, bringing the energy, warmth, and confidence to kick-start their visit in style.

Key responsibilities include:

• Listening to customer needs and exceeding expectations
• Providing accurate information and recommending the right products
• Processing sales and handling cash, including daily balancing of takings
• Managing customer enquiries with professionalism and care
• Supporting general administrative duties as required

• Customer-focused and sales-oriented
• Highly organised and well-presented
• Confident with cash handling and transactions
• Positive, friendly, and a great team player
• A good knowledge of the Hurunui region would be an advantage
