Digital Marketing & Communications Executive

Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa is one of the country's best-loved thermal destinations — steam rising against mountains, a place people return to year after year. We're growing our marketing team and looking for a digital marketing and communications all-rounder to bring that feeling to life across social, email, web content and visual storytelling — for HSTPS, The Spa, Tea Kiosk Café & Grill, and our Information Centre & Gift Shop.

About the Role

• Run our social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and beyond, giving each its own voice and personality.
• Own our EDM platform and guest database, from newsletters to campaign sends.
• Lead the quality and storytelling of our website content, working alongside our Marketing Coordinator on the technical side.
• Coordinate our photography and video content, and keep our visual library fresh and on-brand.
• Make sure every event and promotion we run gets the promotion it deserves, across every channel — working with our Events Coordinator on timing and cross-promotion.
• Set the tone for how we communicate with guests, including media enquiries and anything urgent or reactive.
• A few years' hands-on experience across social media, email marketing and content or communications.
• Sharp writing skills and the ability to flex tone across audiences and platforms.
• Confidence managing a database and understanding of email compliance.
• Comfort with GA4 or similar analytics tools, and turning data into clear insights.
• A strong eye for detail and accuracy.
