Marketing Co-Ordinator

The Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa is one of the South Islands leading visitor attractions, welcoming more than 450,000 visitors each year.  We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and creative individual to join our team and support the delivery of our marketing and promotional activities.

This role is ideal for someone with some experience who is looking to build their skills across a wide range of marketing initiatives while working with an experienced and supportive team.

The role includes but is not limited to:

• Driving and supporting the delivery of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
• Championing website updates and management of digital platforms
• Coordinating marketing materials and activities
• Overseeing email marketing campaigns and the maintenance of marketing databases
• Supporting promotional campaigns, sales initiatives, and events
• Executing customer research, reporting, and marketing performance analysis
• Providing general marketing, communications, and support across the organisation
  

Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will help drive business development, digital marketing initiatives, sales activity and customer engagement. Success in this role will come from someone who enjoys building connections, networking and creating opportunities in the marketing space.

Additionally you will have:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A team player
• A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
• A proactive approach to problem solving
• A collaborative, customer-focused mindset
• An interest in marketing, digital platforms, and brand promotion
• Previous marketing experience is strongly preferred, but we are open to what this looks like

This role is based on site at Hanmer Springs Thermal Pool and Spa and is 40 hours per week.
